We had Carolina parakeets in North Carolina but they went extinct for their feathers for lady’s hats and being a farming nuisance.

I love parrots all birds certainly. Animals ate so amazing. Our lives would be so boarding without them. That bird probably belonged to someone. He was probably never out like that. But glad he found someone who will care and give him love. My mom had a parrot for years and accidentally forgot to lock cage and she took off. Was seen by many in area for about two weeks then nothing just gone.

What beautiful birds. I thought at first he was someone’s parrot that was abandoned. But a whole flock of such gorgeous birds. And friendly too. What a blessing to live there?
